I think this shot makes up what it lacks in inspiration and execution, in sheer awesomeness.
And yes, this is another photo of that sundial. I plan to photograph every square centimetre of it so that one day I can build myself a perfect replica.

i love this.. see how its all out of focus in the middle.. it totally draws your eye to every detail of the sundial.. good work :)

Grrr. I don't like the focus either, but everyone else seems to love it.

I disagree. There is nothing to compensate for in terms of inspiration or execution; both are fantastic. The awesomeness is just icing on the cake. :Fav:

I've always thought of this as just being a good snapshot, just one of my better lucky shots when I was just starting to learn how my SLR worked. In retrospect, I still use many of the same techniques in my 'set-piece' planned photography. Maybe it was a really good photo and I just never knew :P
